Tool Description:

The PCI-911 series is a flexible way of expanding system processing power by offloading I/O tasks from the host processor.

Tool Features:

  • i960 Jx Microprocessor Available in Standard (JF) or Clock Doubled (JD) Versions (PCI-911)

  • i960 CF Superscalar Microprocessor (PCI-912)

  • 2 to 64 Mbytes of Interleaved FAst Page Mode DRAM Located in Two Angled, Field Upgradeable SIMM Sockets (A version), or

  • 2 to 128 Mbytes of DRAM in 4 Upright SIMM Sockets (B version)

  • 1 or 2 Mbytes of Sectored, In-Circuit Programmable Flash ROM

  • i960(R) RISC Microprocessor Operating at 25 or 33 MHz Local Bus Frequencey

  • Console Serial Port

  • Eight Status LEDs

  • Squall II Module Interface

  • Extended Squall II Module Interface (IIE and IIET)

  • Three 16-Bit Counter/Timers (PCI-912)

  • Two 32-Bit Counter/Timers (PCI/911)

  • MON960 Debug Monitor

  • PCI-to-i960 Processor Bridge Device With Two DMA Channels, Mailboxes, and Doorbell Registers
